Thousands participated Wednesday evening in the emotional procession marking the return of the four sifrei Torah that were stolen last week from the Tiferes Shimon shul (Orchos Torah alumni) on Rechov Rabi Akiva in Bnei Brak.

The procession left from the house of the late Rosh Yeshivah, Hagaon Harav Aharon Leib Shteinman, zt”l, who was the Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivas Orchos Torah.

Many Rabbanim and Roshei Yeshivah also participated in the hachnasas sifrei Torah.

Border Police located the four sifrei Torah in a PA town in the Shomron Sunday, and they were later identified as the ones stolen from the shul on Bnei Brak’s Rabi Akiva Street last Monday night. The sifrei Torah were in good condition and showed no signs of desecration.

After extensive searches, police found the sifrei Torah in a sheep pen in Kafr Akraba in the Shomron. During the search they confiscated a hunting rifle, ammunition and explosives. A gag order has been placed on all other details of the case.

The perpetrators broke into the safe that contained the scrolls, stealing four sifrei Torah and leaving another sefer Torah as well as scrolls of the Nevi’im lying in disgrace on the floor.

ספרי התורה שנגנבו בשבוע שעבר מבית הכנסת 'תפארת שמעון' בבני ברק, יוחזרו לבית המדרש בתהלוכת ענק לכבוד התורה. התהלוכה תצא מבית מרן בעל אילת השחר זיע''א לכיוון בית המדרש 'תפארת שמעון'. לפני התהלוכה התקיים מעמד התחלת כתיבת ספר תורה

לאחר שאתמול (ראשון) אותרו ספרי התורה שנגנבו בשבוע שעבר מבית הכנסת 'תפארת שמעון' בבני ברק. מתכננים גבאי בית הכנסת להחזיר את ספרי התורה לבית המדרש בתהלוכת ענק לכבוד התורה. התהלוכה תצא ביום רביעי בשעה 7 בערב מבית מרן ראש הישיבה בעל אילת השחר זיע"א, לכיוון בית המדרש ברחוב רבי עקיבא 79 בבני ברק. יצוין כי בית בכנסת 'תפארת שמעון' שייך לקהילת יוצאי ישיבת 'אורחות תורה' בראשה עמד מרן הגראי"ל זצוק"ל.

לפני התהלוכה התקיים בביתו של מרן ראש הישיבה אילת השחר זיע"א מעמד התחלת כתיבת ספר תורה, שמומן במגבית מיוחדת של בני הקהילה. ספר התורה המיוחד שיכתב לעי"נ מרן ראש הישיבה זיע"א, לאחר שמרן שר התורה הגר"ח קנייבסקי שליט"א הורה אתמול לגבאי בית המדרש שעלו לספר לו כי בס"ד נמצאו ספרי התורה – כי על הקהילה להמשיך בכתיבת ספר התורה החדש למרות שנמצאו הספרים הגנובים.

במכתב מיוחד שכתבו מרן שר התורה שליט"א ראשי ורבני הישיבה שליט"א לכל בוגרי הישיבה שכל אחד יקבל על עצמו לקחת חלק בעול ספר התורה.

כזכור, אמש פורסם כי אותרו בשומרון ספרי התורה שנגנבו מבית הכנסת, הספרים אותרו על ידי כוח מג"ב, שעצרו מספר חשודים במעורבות בתקרית. ממשטרה נמסר כי, "ביום שלישי (11.06.19) התקבל במשטרה דיווח לפיו בוצעה התפרצות לבית הכנסת ״אורות התורה״ ברחוב רבי עקיבא בבני ברק. במהלך ההתפרצות נגנבו מכספת בית הכנסת ספרי תורה יקרי ערך בשווי של מאות אלפי שקלים ונגרם נזק רב להיכל".

"מיד עם קבלת הדיווח, הגיעו למקום שוטרי משטרת ישראל, אשר החלו בחקירת האירוע באמצעות צוות חקירה מיוחד. החקירה שנוהלה באינטנסיביות, כללה שימוש באמצעים סמוים ויכולות מתקדמות שהביאו הבוקר, לאחר מצוד רכוב ורגלי, למעצרם של 5 חשודים בביצוע המעשה".

"עם התפתחות החקירה, הצליחו חוקרי המשטרה להתחקות אחר מיקום ספרי התורה הגנובים ותוך זמן קצר הגיעו בלשי המשטרה, לוחמי מג"ב וחיילי צה"ל לכפר עקרבה שבאזור השומרון ובמהלך חיפוש במקום איתרו את 4 ספרי התורה שהוסלקו בדיר כבשים".

עוד נמסר מהמשטרה כי, "בנוסף נתפס רובה צייד, תחמושת ו- 55 כוורות זיקוקים". החשודים, בשנות ה 20 לחייהם מירושלים, שכם וכפר עקרבה, יובאו הערב להארכת מעצרם בבית משפט השלום בת״א. ספרי התורה נמצאים כעת בחזקת משטרת ישראל ויוחזרו לבית הכנסת בסיום החקירה".

לסיום אומרים במשטרה כי, "אנו רואים בפעילות זו חשיבות רבה שכן מעבר לערכם הכספי של הספרים מדובר בערך דתי וסמלי גבוה מאוד. משטרת ישראל רואה בחומרה כל פגיעה ברכוש בעל חשיבות דתית ללא הבדל בין הדתות במדינה. המשטרה, יחד עם גופי הביטחון הנוספים תעשה הכל בכדי למצות עם העבריינים את הדין".

כזכור, ארון הקודש בבית הכנסת 'תפארת שמעון' הממוקם בלב העיר בני ברק נפרץ וארבעה ספרי התורה נגנבו, ספר תורה נוסף הושלך על הרצפה, כך גם ספרי הנביאים. מדובר בבית הכנסת של קהילת 'אורחות תורה'. במשטרת ישראל נהלו חקירה במטרה להשיב את ספרי התורה ולהביא את הפורעים לדין, צוות החקירה ביצע איסוף של מלצלמות אבטחה באזור.
